Service Description: Group exercise classes, as well as falls prevention class series, for seniors living in the community. Funded by Ontario Health atHome and led by trained fitness professionals, these classes help improve mobility, reduce pain, enhance balance, and build strength. They also provide a welcoming opportunity to socialize and build new friendships while staying active

Classes are offered on a regular weekly schedule and are open to adults 65+ from anywhere in Ontario

Listing of Online Exercise Classes:

  • Muscle Activation - a gentle, chair-based class focused on mind-muscle connection, proper form, and stability. Slow, controlled movements help participants learn how to activate muscles safely, improve body awareness, and build a strong foundation for everyday movement. Equipment: sturdy chair without armrests, water to drink
  • Vitality Blend a balanced hybrid workout combining strength and cardio, with a focus on functional movement. Includes mobility and stability work. Programming varies to support overall strength, balance, and everyday movement. Equipment: hand weights (dumbbells or soup cans), resistance band (ideally one light and one medium), sturdy chair without armrests, water to drink
  • Chair Zumba - a fun, music-based seated cardio class that’s easy on the joints and accessible for all levels. Move to the music and enjoy an uplifting workout from your chair. Equipment: sturdy chair without armrests, water to drink
  • Stretch and Strength - a slower-paced class focused on strength, mobility, and stability. No cardio—just controlled movement to improve flexibility, posture, and muscle tone. Equipment: hand weights (dumbbells or soup cans), resistance band (ideally one light and one medium), sturdy chair without armrests, water to drink
  • Heart and Core - a low-impact class combining cardio and core work, with added mobility and stability to support balance and posture. Equipment: water to drink, sturdy chair without armrests
