Service Description: Drop-in fitness programs to stay active, engaged and supported

  • Yoga - movements to increase flexibility, balance, posture, and breath control. Helps relieve stress and tension
  • Zumba - dance-inspired cardio workout uses traditional cumbia, salsa, samba, and merengue music
  • Cardio Muscle, Strength Training - fitness that incorporates both cardio and muscle conditioning for a complete workout
  • Gymnasium Walking Circuit - stay active at participants own pace with access to an 80-metre indoor walking circuit located on the gymnasium floor. This marked loop provides a safe, climate-controlled space to get the steps in. For a light daily movement, a steady cardio walk, or a way to stay active year-round, the gymnasium walking track offers a convenient and accessible option. Walk independently, track your laps, and set a pace that works
  • Bone Builder 55+ - low impact fitness class builds bone density using resistance equipment and focuses on improving balance. A perfect program for those new to fitness or individuals at risk of developing bone disease or joint issues. Majority of the class requires standing
  • Qi Gong - slow, calm breath combined with focus on mindful movements that will help develop posture, balance, coordination, muscular strength and endurance
  • Standing Pilates Flow 55+ - an alternative exercise while standing for lower-back, knee and arm joint pains. Will help develop posture, balance, coordination, muscular strength and endurance
