Service Description: Responsible for ensuring the safety of all residents through putting out fires and educating the public on fire safety * keep the community and residents safe in the case of fire or emergency

Largest primarily volunteer Fire Services in Ontario

Fire and Emergency Services staff provide:
  • home safety tips
  • fire prevention education
  • inspect public premises to ensure that buildings comply with the Ontario Fire Code,
  • respond to motor vehicle collisions to provide extrication and rescue
  • fire control and emergency medical care
Nine fire stations located in Alton, Bolton, Caledon East, Terra Cotta, Inglewood, Palgrave, Caledon, Mono Mills, Caledon Village
