Service Description:
|
A collaboration of community based organizations supporting Women and Children affected by family and intimate partner violence across the Peel Region. Program provides therapeutic, educational, and skill-building supports focused on recovery from family violence
Programs include:
- HEAL counselling
- Healing Together: A 7-week psychoeducation group
- HMCSAT (Helping Mothers and Children Survive Abuse Together): A 9-week therapeutic group that supports both mothers and children
- In-school Youth Groups
- Educational Workshops

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Services for people living or working in Peel and Dufferin. Counselling and therapy programs serve ages 12 and up. The HEAL Programs serve ages 5 and up. For children under 12, the presence of a parent or a responsible adult is required at the first meeting
