Please note: The Parent session is delivered on the same date and time as the Teen session. In addition, PEERS will not be delivered on July 16, and 30.  

The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) is a social skills training intervention program for socially motivated youth interested in learning skills to help them develop and maintain friendships. During sessions, participants discuss and practice strategies related to different situations. Structured parent education sessions are provided to review strategies and lessons, in order to ensure success in developing and maintaining friendships. 

This Program is overseen by a Registered Behaviour Analyst and is an eligible expense under Core Clinical Services (CCS) within the Ontario Autism Program (OAP).

Refunds will be provided in accordance with the notice period provided, as outlined below.

 Notice Period:
  • Full Refund (-10% Admin Fee): 30+ calendar days’ notice prior to service date
  • Partial Refund (50% of total): 14-29 calendar days’ notice prior to service start date
  • No Refund: fewer than 14 calendar days’ notice prior to service start date 

*No refunds or credits on file will be provided once service has commenced

Registration Notes

Please note: Once a group registration request is received on MyCommunityHub the following steps will occur: 

·   A Kerry’s Place Intake staff will reach out to request updated documentation, as needed. Documentation includes: Written diagnosis of ASD, Kerry’s Place Service Agreement, Supported Person Profile (valid for 1 year), Media Release, and others as needed.

·    You may receive a call from a Coordinator to gather further information prior to confirming your spot in the group.

·    Please expect a reminder email 48 hours prior to the group starting from the facilitators that will include further details related to screening instructions, sign-in/sign-out procedures or Microsoft Teams link (if applicable).
