This group session is for Autistic teens ages 12-15 who want to improve their daily living skills and grow their independence while connecting with others. Participants will join in recreational activities geared toward building social skills, such as making conversation, understanding social rules, identifying characteristics of a good friend, working as a team, and learning to be safe while out in the community.

Cost: $220
Location: St. David of Wales Catholic Elementary School, 4200 Beacon Lane, Mississauga. Please note that specific session dates will have outings planned in either Brampton or Mississauga.
First Session Date: Thursday, January 15, 2026 (No session scheduled for March 19, 2026)
Last Session Date: Thursday, March 26, 2026

Sample Session (optional): Thursday, January 8, 2026; 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Registration NotesPlease note: Once a group registration request is received on My Community Hub, a Kerry’s Place Intake staff will reach out to request updated documentation, as needed. Documentation includes: Written diagnosis of ASD, Kerry’s Place Service Agreement, Supported Person Profile (valid for 1 year), Media Release, and others as needed.
You will have the opportunity to attend a sample session so your child can meet the staff facilitating the group and familiarize themselves with the space the group will take place in.
You will receive a reminder email 48 hours prior to the session from the facilitators that will include further details related to drop-off and pick-up instructions, sign-in/sign-out procedures or Teams link (if applicable).
