Service Description: Social, recreational and volunteer opportunities for older adults in Orangeville and the surrounding area

  • drop in activities - exercise class, gentle fitness (chair yoga), carpet bowling, shuffleboard, Texas Hold em, and cards, wood carving, painting, book club
  • instructional activities - Line Dancing, Zumba Gold, Yoga, and Gentle Fitness, Tai Chi, cyber senior classes, foot care (2 clinics per month)
  • barbecues - June, July and August special events - Bus trips, senior fun nights
  • special occasion dinners, variety nights, volunteer appreciation luncheon, senior information forum, free income tax clinics and guest speakers
  • Tuesday luncheons (see website for details)

Fees: Membership fee $40 * $2-3 drop-in fee * some paid classes

Eligibility / Target Population: Adults 55 years or older, or their spouse may be 55 years and older

"About Us"
A charitable organization offering social, recreational and volunteer opportunities for older adults (55 years+) in Orangeville and surrounding area, encouraging seniors to remain active and independent in their own home and in the community. The main hall is available for rent to outside groups when not in use. Call Centre for details. Volunteer positions available.
