Service Description:
|
PIRS is a free service that helps children who need extra support to participate fully in licensed childcare. Some children with cognitive, physical, social, emotional, communication, or behavioural needs may need extra support in childcare to assist in their overall development
PIRS resource consultants will develop a plan with the family and their childcare provider that focuses on the child’s strengths and areas of development. A diagnosis is not needed
This service helps ensure a child’s experience is positive and inclusive
