Service Description:

Counselling services:
Individual Counselling and Therapy: helps improve relationships, reduce emotional distress, and enhance personal well-being. Therapy offered from a trauma-informed approach, and therapists are trained in various modalities such as Solutions Focused Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Couples Counselling and Therapy: therapy available to help address and resolve challenges that may occur in couple relationships. Therapists are trained in EFT, and the Gottman framework of offering couples therapy
Family Therapy: therapy available to help build healthy family relationships, improve parent/child communication and enhance the emotional quality of life for families

Subsidized services and sliding fee scales available. No one is refused services due to financial constraints.

Eligibility / Target Population:

Services for people living or working in Peel and Dufferin. For children under 12, the presence of a parent or guardian is required at the first meeting
