Multimedia presentations, support resources, and facilitated open discussion in school environment to prevent youth homelessness and sex trafficking Before You Run Open interactive discussion on positive and healthy coping strategies, including compassion and empathy for self and others, as protective factors to encourage wellness and success- youth stories and video presentations regarding contributing factors to youth homelessness including family breakdown, abuse/neglect, mental health, bullying, substance abuse, financial distress, discrimination, and inequity
- information, advice and links to community resources
Reality Check Open interactive discussion on reality of youth homelessness; encourages social responsibility, self-investment, leadership and community development- youth stories and video presentations illustrating the dangers and challenges of street life
- financial literacy activities to demonstrate the hardship when living without family support, education, or career
- links to community resources
Trafficked Open interactive discussion on sex trafficking as a local issue, to prevent exploitation of youth- survivor stories and video presentation explaining how youth are lured, groomed, and exploited
