Service Description:
|
Providing compassionate, community-driven bereavement peer support at no cost * support services are provided by trained volunteers and staff to individuals and families grieving the death of a loved one
- individual one-on-one peer support sessions (by phone)
- support groups - loss-specific and open/all losses (virtual and in-person)
- volunteer facilitator training
- regular social media education / awareness posts
- community outreach - various grief groups/workshops collaborating with community partners across York Region and surrounding communities
